Story

It began life as the Caffè San Fantin in about 1720 in a historic mansion, later in 1863 it took the name of "Martini" from the owner's surname. When the La Fenice theatre opened in 1792, it became the preferred haunt of artists, intellectuals, singers and conductors who gathered there after performances.
A luxory restaurant, favourite among the famous names of culture and business, the Antico Martini also attracts expert gourmets who come to enjoy unforgettable flavours which do honour to Venetian and international cooking in an elegant setting with a romantic atmosphere.
